These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Aussie Bullion Buyers Club website located at www.aussiebullionbuyersclub.com.au (the ‘Website’). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. Aussie Bullion Buyers Club is an independent directory, education and review platform. We do not sell bullion, and these Terms and Conditions do not govern any purchase you make from a third-party dealer listed on the Website — that transaction is between you and the dealer directly

1. About Us

Aussie Bullion Buyers Club (‘ABBC’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’) is an independent, Australian-owned directory, education and review platform helping Australians find reputable places to buy physical gold, silver and other precious metals. We list bullion dealers, publish independent reviews and ratings, and provide general educational content about buying, storing and collecting bullion.

We are not a bullion dealer. We do not sell, store or handle bullion, and we are not a financial adviser, broker or a holder of an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL).

References to ‘you’ or ‘your’ refer to any person accessing or using the Website.

2. Use of the Website

2.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Website for lawful purposes only and in a manner consistent with these Terms and Conditions. You may use the Website to:

Browse our directory of Australian bullion dealers
Read our guides and educational content about buying, storing and collecting bullion
Submit a genuine review or rating of a dealer you have dealt with
Sign up to our newsletter or deal alerts
Submit an enquiry or contact us

2.2 Prohibited Use

You must not use the Website:

In any way that violates any applicable Australian or international law or regulation
To post a fake, misleading, defamatory or paid review of any dealer
To impersonate a dealer, another user, or ABBC
To transmit unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
To knowingly transmit any data or material that contains viruses, malware or any other harmful software
To attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its related systems
To scrape, copy or reproduce dealer data, reviews or other content from the Website without our prior written consent
In any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Website

3. Website Information and Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on the Website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that the content of the Website is accurate, complete, current or free from errors.

In particular:

Dealer information — including pricing, premiums, stock availability, opening hours and contact details — is sourced from dealers or publicly available information and can change without notice. Always confirm current details directly with the dealer before making a purchase.
Spot prices, premiums and any market data referenced on the Website are general and indicative only, may be delayed, and must not be relied upon when making an actual purchase.
Educational content about bullion, investing, storage or tax treatment is general in nature, reflects our own views and research, and does not consider your personal financial situation or objectives.

You should contact the relevant dealer directly for current pricing and stock, and seek advice from a licensed financial adviser, accountant or the ATO before making any investment decision.

5. Not Financial, Investment or Tax Advice

ABBC does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL), and nothing on the Website constitutes financial product advice, investment advice or a recommendation under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) or any other law.

All content — including articles, guides, dealer reviews, ratings, newsletter commentary and any opinions expressed by our founder or contributors — is general information and personal opinion only. It does not take into account your individual objectives, financial situation or needs.

The price of gold, silver and other precious metals can rise and fall, and past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. You should do your own research and, where appropriate, seek advice from a licensed professional before buying bullion or making any investment decision.

6. User Reviews and Ratings

Where we allow users to submit reviews or ratings of dealers, you agree that any review you submit will:

Reflect your own genuine experience with that dealer
Be honest, accurate, and not defamatory, threatening or unlawful
Not be submitted by a dealer about their own business or a competitor

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to moderate, edit, refuse to publish, or remove any review — including in response to a dispute raised by a dealer or another user.

Our own ratings and scoring (including the Bullion Club Score) reflect our independent editorial assessment against criteria we publish on the Website. They are our opinion at a point in time, not a guarantee of a dealer’s future performance, and are not for sale — no dealer can pay for a better score or review.

7. Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content

The Website may contain affiliate links, sponsored or paid dealer listings, and sponsored newsletter placements. Where you click through to a dealer via a link on the Website, or make a purchase after doing so, we may earn a commission or referral fee from that dealer. This does not cost you anything extra.

Sponsored content, paid placements and affiliate relationships are disclosed where they apply. Our editorial reviews and ratings are independent of any commercial relationship — a dealer paying for a sponsored listing does not influence the accuracy of the factual information we publish about them.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Content

All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, photographs, dealer directory data compiled by us, logos, graphics, icons and the overall design and layout, is owned by or licensed to ABBC and is protected by Australian copyright law and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print content from the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You must not:

Copy, reproduce, republish, upload or transmit any Website content without our prior written consent
Use our content, including our dealer directory data or ratings, for any commercial purpose
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices
Use our name, logo or branding without our prior written consent

8.2 Your Submissions

If you submit any content to us through the Website, including reviews, ratings or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to reproduce, publish and display that content on the Website and in our marketing, for as long as it remains published.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Website contains links to third-party dealer websites and may integrate with third-party services including Google Maps, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, our email newsletter platform, and social media platforms. These third-party services and websites are not operated by us and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security or privacy practices.

Links to dealer or other third-party websites are provided for your convenience and do not constitute an endorsement of those websites or their content unless expressly stated. You access third-party websites at your own risk and subject to their own terms and conditions.

10. Google Services

Our Website uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the Website, and Google Maps to display dealer locations.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses or other harmful components
Warranties as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of any information on the Website, including dealer information, pricing, spot prices or ratings
Warranties as to the conduct, legitimacy or performance of any dealer listed on the Website

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ABBC and its founder, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from:

Your use of, or reliance on, any information published on the Website
Any transaction, dispute, loss or damage arising from your dealings with any dealer listed on or linked from the Website
Any investment decision you make, including as a result of reading our educational content, reviews, ratings or newsletter
Your inability to access or use the Website

Where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Newsletter and Deal Alerts
